Your WEDDING STORY
Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & North London
YOUR DAY, AS IT HAPPENS
My approach to weddings is relaxed, documentary and focused on the moments that actually matter. I photograph the day as it unfolds naturally, stepping in with gentle direction when it’s helpful and stepping back when it’s not.
We’ll make time for the important family photographs and the group shots you know you’ll want later on. But the images people usually treasure most are the ones nobody could have planned. The quick look at each other during the ceremony. Your dad trying to hold it together during the speeches. Friends crying with laughter in the corner of the dance floor. Your grandparents sitting quietly together while everything happens around them.
I’m there to capture the atmosphere of the day as it really felt, without turning your wedding into a photoshoot. Most couples tell me they stopped noticing the camera surprisingly quickly, which means the photographs stay natural and the focus stays exactly where it should be: on the people you’re there to celebrate with.

How It Works

01.
Your Wedding Starts Here
THoughtful planning, relaxed from the start
From the moment you get in touch, my aim is to make the photography side of your wedding feel straightforward, relaxed and completely tailored to the two of you. We’ll chat about your plans, the kind of atmosphere you want for the day, and the moments that matter most to you, whether that’s huge dance floor energy, a quiet countryside celebration, or simply having all your favourite people in one place together.
As the wedding gets closer, I’ll help with timelines, group photo planning and all the little details that help the day run smoothly without photography taking over it. Most couples tell me they hadn’t realised quite how reassuring it was to have someone experienced guiding this part of the process until we started planning together.
My approach is always flexible and calm. Every wedding is different, and I want the photography to fit naturally around your day rather than the other way round.
By the time the wedding arrives, you’ll know exactly what to expect, leaving you free to properly enjoy it.
02.
Enjoy The Day
I’ll take care of the rest
Once the day begins, my job is to quietly keep track of the moments unfolding around you while you focus on being fully present in it all.
I’ll gently guide where needed, particularly during couple portraits and family photographs, but much of the day is photographed naturally as it happens. Most couples tell me they’re nervous about being in front of the camera beforehand, but the day itself rarely feels like one long photoshoot. After the first part of the day, people usually stop noticing the camera altogether, which is exactly how I want it to feel.
Group photographs are always handled calmly and efficiently, with enough direction to keep things organised without taking you away from your guests for long periods of time. Couple portraits are relaxed too. Nothing overly posed or awkward, just time for the two of you to step away for a few minutes and breathe everything in together.
The aim is always for the photography to fit naturally around your wedding, not take over it. So you can spend your time where you actually want to be, with the people you love, while I quietly capture it all as it happens.

03.
Your Story, Preserved
THE MOMENTS YOU DIDN”T EVEN REALISE MATTERED
Within 48 hours of your wedding, I’ll send you a small selection of preview images to relive and share while everything still feels wonderfully fresh and new. Your full gallery of hand-edited images will then follow a few weeks later through a private online gallery.
The aim is always to create photographs that feel timeless, natural and genuinely reflective of the day as it really was.
Alongside the big moments you’ll expect to see, I pay just as much attention to the quieter details and interactions that often become more meaningful over time. The look on someone’s face during the speeches. Friends talking with their heads together at the back of the room. A hand squeeze during the ceremony. The way people were together when they thought nobody was watching.
Many couples choose to turn their photographs into albums, frames or keepsakes for their home, so the images become part of everyday life rather than simply living on a screen. Wedding photographs have a way of growing more valuable with time, not just because of how everything looked, but because of the people who were there and the memories attached to them.
Long after the flowers, table plans and tiny details have faded from memory, the photographs become the thing that brings you back to how the day actually felt.
We love our photos so much, we know we’ll cherish them for the rest of our lives.

WHERE I PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS
I photograph weddings across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, North London and beyond. I’m based in Berkhamsted and happy to travel wherever your day takes place, whether that’s a countryside marquee, a London pub, a family garden celebration or a registry office ceremony.
I also photograph a lot of smaller weddings and ceremonies at St Albans Register Office, which is a venue I know well and genuinely love photographing. If you’re planning a relaxed, intimate wedding there, I’d love to hear from you.
The person behind the camera
Why Couples Choose Me
Why should you book me as your photographer?
Most couples who get in touch say the same thing: they want someone who’ll photograph the day without taking over it. Someone calm, unobtrusive and easy to have around from the morning preparations right through to the dance floor.
I only take on a small number of weddings each year, so every couple gets proper time and attention throughout the process. I’ll help with planning and timelines beforehand, keep group photographs organised and relaxed on the day, and quietly document everything else as naturally as possible. One of the nicest things couples regularly tell me afterwards is that they forgot I was there, which is always exactly how I want it to feel.
Many of my wedding couples later come back for newborn and family sessions too, which is always incredibly special. Photographing people through different chapters of life is one of the things I love most about this job.
